I was researching the possibility of growing N. attenboroughii seeds and I discovered they were found growing in ultramafic soil. I was trying to figure out a safe way to incorporate nickel and chromium into a potting media for this species for that reason.

I agree with Johnny. The metal in the natural soil probably does more at keeping out competition, than helping the Nepenthes grow. First rule about the biology of CPs, is their tenacity to grow where other plants cannot.
