Hey All -
Jeff Gold down at the Georgia Nature Center has a number of location specific Sarracenia that have been collected at the Center over the years as part of a conservation effort. They're set to divide up some of those plants and want to pass them along to conservation organizations. I've already helped him contact the rest of the NASC Board, but I wasn't sure if either Roger Williams or Tower Hill or any other group we work with would be interested in plants w/locations and could try to keep pure lineages.
We can plant some at Roger Williams and I will propose that we plant a bog at Tower Hill with conservation in mind. At a minimum, the NECPS should take them with the promise to aid conservation of these plants.
