If anyone is interested in giving a presentation, talk or some type of instructional seminar please contact Don Gallant. If you do not have his email address you may contact him from the NECPS CONTACTS page. www.necps.org/contact.php
I'm very responsible, when ever something goes wrong they always say I'm responsible.
Matt K. has agreed to the following presentations on Long Island's CP species (NY) and also and in-depth presentation on Long Island's Drosera filiformis. I sent the information to Don, but thought it would be good to post it here so people have an idea of what we are planning.
I'll get in touch with Don as we get closer to the show date to see if he can provide me with a complete list. Are these Seminars to occur on a specific day or on both days? Or are the plans to just fit them in when time permits?
I have been in contact with Don about the seminars because I think advertising them early may be better for seminar attendance. He sent a presenter questionnaire and received on a couple of replies. Here is where I think we are at the current moment:
Drosera filiformis presented by Matt K. Building a mini-bog presented by John T. Nepenthes cuttings (like our January meeting) presented by me
Don is planning to assign specific times and days for each seminar in advance so we can eventually put them in a program to hand out during the show. I am only planning on Saturday, but other people may be open to both days based on how they filled out the questionnaire. I will plan on updating this thread soon with more details as they become known.
I'll add that to the show page on the website www.necps.org/show.html. The only one I was aware of was Matt's. I'll just list the seminars for now. I can include the specific dates and times when they have been established.
