I just found this forum. I met some of you already, a few in person at the inform August meeting, a bunch more online.
Greetings from Connecticut!!
I've grown carnivorous plants (in their hundreds—mainly Sarracenia, Utricularia, Drosera but also most others) for 10+ years—but that's a while ago, when I still lived in Scotland. In 2008, I had to give up my collection when I moved to the US.
I'm just getting back into CPs this year. I'm very happy to live in the region "covered" by the NECPS (which I joined last year already). :-) Thanks to the generosity of greg, I was off to a great start with my new and growing collection.
Alas, no. I had to go on an urgent trip, family related. Left the day the show started. I'm very sore I missed it! I heard it was a blast! I hope to finally meet you in person at the October meeting, Johnny!
We met at the August meeting. Thanks for joining our forum. We will have a silent auction at our October meeting, so you will have a chance to pick up some new plants.
Hi Dave, Yes, I remember meeting you, of course! I very much hope I'll be able to come to the October meeting. It's too early to tell. Currently, the calendar is free for the date, but it was free for the flower show as well until a few days before...
